My name is Mateo Arceneaux! I'm a Visual Studies senior at Ringling College of Art and Design.
I've always loved art and making things with my hands. It's a little magical to be able to create things this way! I have studied a wide range of artistic mediums from traditional to digital and feel this has given me a great deal of perspective and versatility. I especially love painting - both digital and traditional, and it makes me so happy to be able to communicate ideas and stories in such a wonderful and fluid way. I love designing characters and the worlds they inhabit and it brings me so much joy to feel like I'm bringing a whole world to life. I aspire to build and create and inspire in whatever capacity I am able, for as long as I can. I love learning new things and am always determined to push through and problem solve when I encounter something difficult or new to me. I never settle for less than my best.
When I'm not on the job I love to explore new places, be near people I love, take pictures, bake so much bread, watch cartoons, tell stories, play games with friends, swim, garden, stargaze, and wear armor. I think life is a super cool adventure! Sometimes it's terrifying, but mostly it's awesome!
